WHAT WE DO
Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We are here to support and empower urban artists by seeking out public spaces that can be available to them. We connect local talent with Imperial Valley organizations/entrepreneurs/property owners to help beautify our towns with meaning. Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the sense of belonging that we reinforce to the communities of the Imperial Valley.
WHY HERE?
The Imperial Valley is filled with artistic talent awaiting a public platform that can benefit how we view and relate to our community. Each city/town within the Imperial Valley carries its own individual identity that sets it apart from the other.
Art is communication and can therefore, express a community’s values. Let’s use our local talent to create an elevated sense of awareness for community members and visitors! Let’s be proud of our community!
WHY NOW?
The obvious reason: We need to get people back out in society forming bonds again (especially after all this separation).
Not so obvious reasons: Art has the ability to bind generations and strengthen a community’s character.
Our towns are slowly losing their vibrancy and unity, and art can produce community vitality.
Let’s build back that resilience, tell our local stories and inspire reflection!
