OUR STORY
IV Public Arts | IV Murals, Inc. was initiated by Araceli Mangione (maiden name Gutierrez) as a way to revive the Imperial Valley, her county of birth. Founded in 2022, IV Public Arts offers local artists and community members the support, guidance, and connectivity needed to build lasting relationships that will benefit the community as a whole.
Our goal is to lead a project-by-project based program that will draw out our local artists by offering them opportunities to work closely with the community – and enhance the way we think about public spaces and art.
Here at IV Public Arts, we are committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. The Valley has so much talent and potential, so let us expand on that and showcase our eclectic small boarder community. [The Imperial Valley is a border region, economically diverse, with a large population identifying as Hispanic/Chicano/Latinex].
We strive to support locals in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Just imagine what we can achieve together!
